Fantastic stay in Villa Amethyst
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Amethyst . The location was ideal for us . The views over the bay are stunning . The cleaning team were excellent as was Samet the local management contact . The Villa had everything that we needed and we especially appreciated the water cooler and the fresh drinking water tap .One of the best properties we have stayed in.

Wow! What a beautiful Villa it had everything we needed so well equipped and furnished beautifully throughout. The views were stunning. the pool was fantastic lots of pool towels to use. Margaret the owner was available anytime if we needed her. She was so helpful with lots of information and she made sure we were picked up from the airport and looked after ! Our daughter has already booked again for next year.. Fantastic !!!!
We stayed here in July 2024 & had the most amazing holiday. This is a beautiful villa & had everything we needed. It is ideally located near several supermarkets & is a lovely 15 min walk into town.
We used the large BBQ most days for lunch. The hosts are thoughtful & provide a welcome pack for your arrival & also ensure that basic essentials such as dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll & toilet rolls are in the villa when you arrive. The cleaning staff are very friendly & hard working.
We look forward to future visits.
We stayed here in June as a family - first time in Kalkan and definitely won’t be our last. Villa was fabulous and location is excellent. Three supermarkets at the end of the road and a lovely walk to all the restaurants and bars in the old town. Each couple had their own floor with balcony and en-suite. and the views are to die for! Highly recommend and we will be back next year x

My second stay at the beautiful Villa Amethyst. The villa is well equipped with a beautiful pool area and sea views. The owners organised airport transfers and the most memorable boat trip. Kalkan is a beautiful town and the restaurants provide wonderful food. The local people are polite and welcoming.

Villa Amethyst was an incredible place to stay and made for an unforgettable holiday. The pool provided lots of fun with plenty of loungers and umbrellas for those who wanted to stay in the shade. All rooms have their own bathroom and are equipped with air conditioning, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. As a group of young women staying in the villa we felt so safe both in the villa and coming back from town in the evening which was really important for us. There was so much space and the layout of the villa meant we had our own space to relax but then also plenty of areas to sit all together comfortably as a group. There are so many spaces for dining and entertaining, some nights we just decided to stay in the villa rather than go out. The villa has a breathtaking view of the sea with a really special roof terrace which was the perfect place for a pre-dinner cocktail. The villa is in a quiet and peaceful area but then a short walk and you’re in the heart of the town which has so many wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. There is a hotel near the villa which had an incredible all you can eat Turkish BBQ followed by traditional Turkish dancing, we felt this is a must-visit. The hotel also made it really easy to get a taxi home as everyone in the area knows where it is. A week simply wasn’t long enough to visit this slice of paradise!
Villa Amethyst is a real gem. On the ground floor there is a well equipped kitchen and lounge area, a lovely terrace with sunbeds, a shaded area for when the sun gets too much, and dining table and chairs both inside and out. The bedrooms are spacious, each with en-suite and balcony, including a superb master and, off the top floor bedroom , a rooftop terrace with a sofa, dining table and chairs and a mini kitchen with fridge. The location is excellent , a 15 minute stroll into town, on a flat road (mainly flat, this is Kalkan after all) and in a quiet area, with a couple of bars a short stroll away and with a Migros supermarket less than 5 minutes walk . We couldn't fault the Villa or the service we received from the local representative and staff".
What a stunning villa in the beautiful town of Kalkan. Myself and my friends have just had the most amazing week staying at Villa Amethyst. So comfortable and spacious, with every need being catered for by the owners Margaret and Frank. Whether visiting attractions and activities that they recommend, or relaxing by the pool. It is so lovely. Can’t wait to go and stay again. It felt like paradise.!
I have just returned from a holiday in Turkey and stayed in Villa Amethyst. I have never stayed in such a beautiful Villa. Every room is so comfortable with amazing views of the sea. Kept pinching myself as it was above and beyond what I had expected. The owners catered for all our needs, with transport to and from the airport and recommendations such as Turkish Bath, boats trips, beach and restaurants to visit. I have recommended the Villa to friends and family. Will definitely be booking again without hesitation .
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Villa Amethyst. The Villa is beautiful and the owners have thought of everything you may need to have a relaxing holiday. The villa’s location is also excellent for the old town and beach clubs. The pool and terrace areas are well kept and all offer beautiful sea views. Samet and his team keep the Villa in an immaculate condition and nothing is ever too much trouble during your stay. We will definitely be returning!!
